We're Here to Help!

The ObGyn program manager works proactively with program directors, faculty, residents, and fellows to support one or more fellowship programs in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. They work independently, use sound judgment, and interpret and disseminate institutional and ACGME policies and procedures to training programs, including reviewing data to assist in continuous program improvement. They participate in the development of program goals and objectives, and are responsible for achieving objectives within defined parameters set by the institution and ACGME. Successful program management requires the use of independent judgment to determine the best approach to accomplish objectives established in the program plan. In some cases, the program manager may handle fiscal management of grants or funds, and coordinate special programs such as speakers and lecturers, publications, and special conferences to ensure fulfillment of the program objectives.
